Pilgrim Jewellery Unveils Its First Toronto Storefront

Danish jewelry brand Pilgrim has inaugurated its premier storefront in Toronto, housed within the bustling CF Toronto Eaton Centre.

This development is a part of Pilgrim’s larger ambition of strengthening its footprint in the Canadian market, following its existing outlets in Montreal, Laval, Quebec City, and Ottawa.

    A Glimpse into Pilgrim’s Legacy

Embarking on its journey in 1983 under the aegis of Annemette Markvad, Pilgrim’s inception was fueled by the idea of offering delightful yet affordable handcrafted jewelry.

The brand’s trajectory saw its Canadian debut around eight years ago, steered by the North American CEO, Robert Hayes. Pilgrim’s ethos resonates with a broad spectrum of patrons, offering a versatile range of handcrafted, lead and nickel-free jewelry, embodying a blend of aesthetic allure and affordability.

    Unveiling a Unique Retail Experience

The new Toronto locale is not just a jewelry store, but aims to offer a rounded aesthetic experience. Besides its jewelry collection, customers will find UV400-protected sunglasses, water-resistant watches, and a distinctive in-house piercing studio. The piercing studio is a testament to Pilgrim’s endeavor to elevate the customer experience, ensuring certified piercers and a private space for the services. This initiative, being introduced for the first time in Canada by Pilgrim, hints at a potential new retail concept if it resonates well with the patrons.

    Sustainable Ethos

Pilgrim’s commitment extends beyond just aesthetics to embracing sustainability. A significant portion of their jewelry is crafted from recycled materials, indicating a brand ethos rooted in environmental consciousness. As Pilgrim advances its Canadian operations, this sustainable ethos is poised to be a significant part of its narrative.
